[Okay, one kiss, but he still has a retort for that comment! So pulling back after a moment.]

You know, I actually had a really good reply to that lined up, but then you distracted me.

I could continue to distract you if you really wanted me to.

[Grinning, still not really letting go.]

[Looks thoughtful for a moment.]

Maybe, but that kind of ruins all my plans if I you do.

Fine. But if you change your mind, [she just sort of teasingly moves her knee between his legs] we can always come back to this.

[And then she pulls away completely, turning her back to him as if going about her business.] So tell me, what's on the agenda?

[Woah! WOAH! Eyes wide at that. Just going to stare at her in shock for a moment as she saunters off there]

[Oh, right, they were talking about their plans today.]

[She doesn't even turn around as she reaches for her jacket.]

[Okay, now she'll glance at him over her shoulder with a smile.]

[Putting on her jacket now]

[She joins him at his side, nudging him with her elbow.]

Hey, have more confidence than that. You're supposed to be sweeping me off my feet. It's not gonna happen if you're suddenly unsure.

[And at that he's actually moving behind her and bending down to scoop one hand under her knees, the other arm going around her shoulderblades. Trying to pick her up bridal style here.]

[Well she sure as hell wasn't expecting that, and arms instinctively reach out and cling to his neck because HELLO being picked up.]

I didn't mean literally but this works. [she laughs]

Well then think of it as the first part of today's surprise.

[And he'll just be heading towards the door now.]

[She's just along for the ride! She lets her feet move back and forth idly as she holds onto him, and damn. Is she impressed? She just might be. Keep taking that initiative, Peter. She likes it.]

[Who would have guessed? Certainly not him! Now just hold tight while he kicks the door shut behind him and walks down the halls.]

[She draws in a breath, eyes rolling up as she thinks.]

[She kicks her legs playfully.]
