[Sanji isn't sure of a lot of things, but not having fallen asleep in some sort of restaurant, well, that's... that's something he's sure he didn't do. His face had been firmly planted into a counter top, and he's sitting on a stool, and his back HURTS, DAMN.

And it looks like it's not just him that's waking up in this place.]

...Huh? Oi, what the hell's going on now?!

[It's so delightful seeing a girl take her time and enjoy herself! Then again, it's Sanji, so it would be equally delightful to see her eating at absolutely any pace short of taking one bite and declaring it to be disgusting.

And that would result in profuse apologizing and possibly tears.]

How right you are! I put everything I had into crafting this meal, and I am positively brimming with happiness to have someone that can appreciate all the effort that went in to ensuring every last morsel was perfect! [He's practically spinning with joy, here.]

[Even if it was disgusting, she'd never reveal it. And would still eat everything. Because it's the nice thing to do. Yet even she can't help smiling at how...happy he seems over such a thing.]

Well, um, you did take the time to make this... And it really does show. Along with all the time you've spent practicing. It really is quite delicious, and...and you should be proud. Being able to cook like this.

[So polite, so graceful! She really is such a sweet young lady. If he wasn't controlling himself so well, he might have forgotten not to spin around in a pirouette of joy and shamelessness.]

I am proud! Cooking is what I do the very best, among my many skills, of course. I am thrilled to see you so happy and fulfilled with my meager offering, and you have my word that any further meals prepared will exceed any other you've had before!

[OK, that compliment kind of backfired on her... She's starting to realize that she may need to tone down anything of the sort when it involves him.]

It...really wasn't meager. And you really don't have to promise such a thing... I-I don't think I'd be able to go back to castle food if that happened.

[Being exceptionally careful with compliments is a necessity with Sanji. Given a chance, he'll graft himself to someone and enjoy hearing her delightful, complimenting voice all day long, and no one but him wants that.]

But it was! I had such limited materials to work with... and I'd be happy to always cook for you! I already do it for so many back home, why not one more?

[She may want to hurry if that's the plan.]

And...and that's a testament to how hard you've worked at this. That you were able to create something so delicious.

Um, and...this isn't back home, so...so you don't have to. And it's not polite to accept something like that without returning the favor.

[She's just so sweet and selfless it brings a tear to his eye. This is how the perfect woman would act, so compassionate, so forgiving of his obvious difficulties but still thankful for all his effort!]

Th-then I will certainly cook for you whenever you want me to! Your thanks is all the favor I need in return, such sweet modesty speaks volumes to my ears that can detect the underlying gratitude!

[It's a good thing she can't read minds and that she's a bit more focused on eating that salad otherwise...she would wonder briefly what she has done. But, as it is, she's grateful that a different approach seems to have worked.]

[For all parties involved, and that's meant globally, it's best that mind-reading never comes near Sanji in any way, shape, or form. His head is... odd, and reading others would be nearly as bad.]
