[ town filter ]
[ despite all the talk and the disappearances occurring in the town, uru hadn't stopped working till closing time at her job. if anything, they needed people to take some of those shifts because some of her own co-workers had changed their schedule around so they were working in the morning. it didn't bother her; they were scared obviously.
it... was a scary thought.
luckily, she lived close to her workplace so uru didn't need to think too much about it. she stepped up to her door and stretched her arms before she began digging into her pockets.
funny... she wasn't hearing a jingling sound... nor did she feel her keys in her pocket. oh... oh, crap. after another few minutes of searching her other pockets and her bag, she found nothing. she had lost her keys again? :/ and she couldn't go back to work because it was closed. it wouldn't re-open until 8AM.
with a glance in the castle's direction, uru sighed and starts off that path. ]

[The only thing likely visible under the brim of his hat is the one mean eye... staring... right... at her...]

H-Hi?!

Ah... hello? Sorry, I didn't mean to startle you...
no subject
It's okay! I didn't realize there was someone else.
no subject
Where you headed?

Back there.

I lost my house keys again. It's like I'm cursed.

Don't you think it's a little late to be out alone like this? I heard people've been disappearing...
no subject
I'm used to it but... it's terrible. One of my co-workers hasn't come back in weeks. [ she really hopes he's not... ]
Are you a resident of the castle, too?
no subject
Sometimes. I haven't been back there in awhile.
no subject
You're living in the town?
no subject
Mmhm. It's nice. Private. Well... more then the castle is anyway...
no subject
That's true. Not that I dislike the castle! But living out here is nice and at least when weird things happen back there, we're not affected. Like the eggs.

[Oh B) Can't help by smile terribly as Harvey squirms. Mmm, been awhile, he'd almost forgotten what that look feels like. And now... yeah, he's done with pretenses, reaching up to rustle for something in his jacket. Possibly worse, his voice drops out of Harvey's quiet, calm tone and into a low, ugly growl]

she takes a step back at first but feels guilty instantly. she tears her eyes away from his face, now going into a bit of a panic. ]
Are you hurt? We should go to the clinic.
[ but his current tone sends a nasty chill down her spine. ]
