[ town filter ]

[ despite all the talk and the disappearances occurring in the town, uru hadn't stopped working till closing time at her job. if anything, they needed people to take some of those shifts because some of her own co-workers had changed their schedule around so they were working in the morning. it didn't bother her; they were scared obviously.

it... was a scary thought.

luckily, she lived close to her workplace so uru didn't need to think too much about it. she stepped up to her door and stretched her arms before she began digging into her pockets.

funny... she wasn't hearing a jingling sound... nor did she feel her keys in her pocket. oh... oh, crap. after another few minutes of searching her other pockets and her bag, she found nothing. she had lost her keys again? :/ and she couldn't go back to work because it was closed. it wouldn't re-open until 8AM.

with a glance in the castle's direction, uru sighed and starts off that path. ]

she doesn't say anything else. the "we" thing makes her think of ryou and the ring spirit. but if this guy was possessed, he wouldn't have to resort to a gun, right? ]

[Frustrated enough for the moment that he doesn't notice. Harvey's suddenly bitching at him about this. Again. WHY GOD WHY, but if she goes too far too fast... he's still got the gun drawn on her...]

[ immediately she whirls around to face him. she glares up at him. not a trace of fear on her, replaced by rage, which is rare for her. ]

Let -- [ she chokes and then shuts up again. the anger is still there in her eyes and she continues to glower at him. ]

[Ohhhh yessssss. That anger makes him so happy, and he's grinning as he closes he hand a little tighter around her throat. My goodness, does he want to kill this girl right now...]

[ she winces, gritting her teeth in her mouth. her heart is beating faster again when he makes that threat. ]

[Eyebrow raise and he lets go of her throat, though he keeps the gun firmly pressed to her forehead]

[Takes the gun off her head, and gestures for her to keep walking. They're close, and he's starting to think they've been out in the open far too long...]

[ she starts along again, hand still on her bag. she needs to find a good moment so she can get it open. even if she can't get to the mace, as soon as she opens the journal and even says one thing, someone will hear it. they'll know she's in trouble.

but paranoia is growing fast. if this guy wanted to kill damian... this was all a trap, wasn't it? except damian isn't stupid -- he wouldn't fall for this. besides, they haven't spoken in months. was this guy even aware of that?

she makes sure she keeps walking ahead for now. ]

[He's paying slightly less attention to her now. She seemed to finally get it, and his own brand of paranoia was making this walk seem decidedly more dangerous. A Bat was the last thing he wanted to come across when he was this close...]

[ she waits for it and does her best to stand her ground when he pushes again. then as quickly and as hard as she can, she bends her arm and proceeds to slam it into his stomach from behind. lol @ you before perfect height for this. still, it's not trained or perfected. clearly just a girl who's frightened out of her wits now.

and she bolts as fast as her legs will allow her, trying to get back on the path toward the castle. her hand scrambles to zip open her bag but she's not getting it. ]
