[ town filter ]
[ despite all the talk and the disappearances occurring in the town, uru hadn't stopped working till closing time at her job. if anything, they needed people to take some of those shifts because some of her own co-workers had changed their schedule around so they were working in the morning. it didn't bother her; they were scared obviously.
it... was a scary thought.
luckily, she lived close to her workplace so uru didn't need to think too much about it. she stepped up to her door and stretched her arms before she began digging into her pockets.
funny... she wasn't hearing a jingling sound... nor did she feel her keys in her pocket. oh... oh, crap. after another few minutes of searching her other pockets and her bag, she found nothing. she had lost her keys again? :/ and she couldn't go back to work because it was closed. it wouldn't re-open until 8AM.
with a glance in the castle's direction, uru sighed and starts off that path. ]

she swallows and waits for him to approach again, keeping her back turned. ]

[Will just... walk at her without missing a beat. Gonna shove her again. Thinking about more drastic measures cause seriously, this is pretty ridiculous]

and she bolts as fast as her legs will allow her, trying to get back on the path toward the castle. her hand scrambles to zip open her bag but she's not getting it. ]
Come on, come on, come on!

[As untrained as it is, it still takes him completely by surprise and he ends up leaning against the wall for a moment--]

[And then she's around the corner, so it's not gonna do him any good to try again. SIGH. Runs after her, as hard as he can. There's no way he's letting her get away now, and she's short enough that catching up to her... isn't much of a problem. Reaches for the strap on her bag to trip her up since she seems so interested in it...]

and she screams again when she feels herself being jerked back toward him. she's quickly trying to slip the bag off so she can break away from him once more. ]
No... no! Stop it!

[AND MAN DIS UPPITY BITCH is getting pretty tiring, so in the same motion he brings his other hand around and... basically tries to punch her in the head with his gun...]

[ only she doesn't get to finish that thought. she feels the strike against her head and there's a flash of white. ]

[Casts one last quick look across the street, and picks her up. Didn't want to have to carry her but at least she's tiny... And with that thought, he heads back towards the raggedy warehouse he's currently calling home, keeping to the darker, shadier parts of town as he goes. No need to attract more attention since she started screaming. Stupid brat...]
TIME SKIP... to a couple of hours later
something is very wrong.
for one, her head is still hurting and she cringes, struggling to reach her temple only her hands are bound tightly. she finds her feet are, too.
panicking? panicking. ]

[It's... Even from far away, it's probably obvious something's different though. Where before, he was all rigid authority and anger, suddenly he's... folded in on himself. Nervous. Like he's waiting for someone to inevitably slap him. And the moment he notices she's awake, he's hurrying over. Worriedly )8]
Hey, hey. It's alright. Don't panic...
no subject
Don't!

Sorry, I just wanted to check your head...

looking at him suspiciously. he had knocked her out and brought her here, wherever here was. she then remembers he had been firing at her, too. why would he be concerned about her head? ]
What?
no subject
Your head... He hit you pretty hard, I just wanted to make sure it wasn't getting worse...
no subject
wait. ]
"He"? [ she pauses. ] What's going on?
no subject
[N... noooooo] There's... me and... him. [And he kind of... gestures to each side of his face...] It's his plan, I'm just making sure you're okay for now...
no subject
You're... two people in one body? [ her voice is quiet. ] Why? He -- you were shooting at me before.
[ clearly, he doesn't care for her well-being. ]
no subject
No... No, he was. He shouldn't have been. [He didn't flip for it... oh shut up Harvey you would've done the same thing no I wouldn't, I wouldn't be doing thi-- FUCK OFF and stop lying to me, hmm? You're not fooling anyone...]
[Shakes his head] I'm sorry...

a deep breath and she starts to look around the warehouse. there's nothing at all that stands out; boxes and dust and dirt. it's obvious no one's been in here for months.
she starts to shudder, peering back at harvey. it's clear this isn't two-face anymore... ]
Who are you?
no subject
Harvey...
no subject
Harvey... and Two-Face.
[ so that's who "we" was. ]
Where are we?
