[ Alright, well, so far? This place isn't too shabby. A few friends from home, a few people who know him from his previous two-year stay, and a few mysteries to investigate so he has something to do with his free time...not bad. Not bad at all. The lack of having his nuts clawed at by Erebus helps, too.

For the first week, Minato has been indulging the simpler pleasures of life; fresh food, sleeping in, and spending a day doing nothing but playing videogames and listening to music. Good times all around!

But of course, one can't just laze around forever- social needs are just that. So today, he's on a lobby couch, feet propped up on an ottoman, PSP in his lap. Faint sounds of some sort of hacky-slashy game with all the people from that one popular series filter through his headphones, but it's mostly his voice, dictating into the journal. ]

For all the people who've been here awhile...I was wondering. How do you fill your days? I don't mind having all this time off, but...it's like summer vacation.

[ In that eventually, like Junpei, there's just nothing left to do and you can't wait for school to be back in. He buttons through a menu, pausing before the next fight against Swordguy McLeatherbelts. ]

Must be more to do. Especially with the mystery of the castle.

I am perfectly fine with watching; it seems I lack fine motor skills to a certain degree, and I am uncertain if I would be able to do very well at playing such a game because of it.

Quite well, all things considered; it has not been a very eventful week, all things considered.

What of yourself? Have you made any new friends since your arrival within the Castle? ...and have you had the opportunity to speak with Uru yet? I had been meaning to contact her myself, but have not had the chance to do so.

I've met a few people...and spoken to Uru. She's a nice girl.

Uru is very kind. Perhaps somewhat too kind - but I enjoy her company quite a bit. She has been very nice to me.

She is. I can see why we were friends with her.

You were very important to her before, and she was very sad when you left. I know that you do not remember that, of course... but I would be very happy if you could become friends with her again. I do not like to see Uru unhappy.

...It would seem as though I am somewhat important to her, as well. It is an odd thought.

I agree that she does. ...Uru does her best for people, so it owuld be nice if you could do your best for her, as well.

[Making a slightly awed face at the smackdown, before turning his attention to Minato once more.] I am uncertain if it is typically natural for me to be accepted so readily. But I am quite certain that Uru has excellent survival instincts - so it seems rather peculiar of her at times.

I cannot say that I mind it, however.

...I believe you may be right about that. It is the reason that I think Uru is very naive.

I am more than certain if she actually saw me, she would be very frightened.
