[This is completely and utterly maddening. One day, the weird blue thing is sitting under a tree, the next day, it's gone. Then she finds it snug against the castle walls, like it had always been there. Then it's gone again and she only happens upon it when she was passing by the duck pond (it seems to have a rather nice view too).
And today, it's just sitting in the middle of the lawn, sticking out like a sore (blue) thumb. She glares at it for a few minutes, before turning and heading out the door. She's gonna find out what the hell that thing is today - even though the last time she tried something like that, she ended up on someEXTREME odd game show.]

Nonsense. Just because no one has doesn't mean it can't be done. Honestly, if people settled for logic like that you humans would never have made it out of the caves.

If destroying stuff isn't part of the solution, I'm pretty much useless.
[sidelong glance at Zuko]

[...she's had enough of that back at home.]

He really is new.

[a disbelieving look] Oh really, now. [a pause as he reconsiders] I mean...well... I did save the world with the power of love once. I did do that. But I was thinking something a bit more scientific.
[to Zuko] And I'm not new. Or not as new as all that. And I've faced far worse than a kidnapping, transdimensional castle.

[barely suppresses a twitch at the love thing. Coming from a world of magical girls does have its drawbacks (i.e. a lack of comeback).] This place wreaks havoc with science.
