What sort of flowers would you bring to a person to indicate gratitude? Assuming you do not know this person well, but have learned she has an interest in flowers, is there any particular species that lends itself well to this sort of thing?

Campandulas are a purple variety, though the symbolic meaning is pretty consistent.

Dark pink signifies thankfulness, appreciation, gratitude, things of that nature.
