Told me they thought of him as a ... abomination cos of his eyes. His eyes! Horrible horrible beings. I like them purple eyes of his. Maybe he'll be fussin' less after a bit more time here. Or I'll just find a way to make him fuss less ...

Nothing like that. It's just, well, it's not very fun, always wondering how someone feels. Best to be open about it. And I think he agrees with me.

No, it's really not. And it's even worse when you've got someone who wants you but they're just not enough. Course, when they're not here, that kind of makes the whole thing moot.

That's the worst! I mean, if someone likes you, they bloody ought to just say so. All that dancing around, what's the point? And if they don't, they should be honest about that, too. No sense in making a girl wonder.

Yep. It was bad. I like knowin' if he likes me or not cos then ... why keep workin' at it? Only with that one guy I kept tryin' cos ... I had hope since he was flirtin' one minute but ... oh it don't matter none now.

'sides, if he got pulled here like the others did, well I wouldn't be goin' after him again. Nope. Found someone way better.

Guys're so frustratin' ... an' then they wonder why we just glare at 'em sometimes!
