They had to resort of sacrifices because they didn't have Exorcists or people who can do anything like exorcisms. We do!

Sacrificing clearly didn't work for them anyway, seeing how it came back.

I have weighed that option, Father Abel. I've been looking into many options.

I realise you wish to save them by any cost, and I mean no offence but...You'd be much too old to sacrifice, Father Abel. Slenderman likes people who are young and their blood is only..freshly corrupted. That's what the research said. The fitting sacrifice that's most likely to work would not be you, but it'd...it'd be someone like me. Or even younger than me.

With that in mind...would you still want to pursue that option?

According to the diaries... that might not be the case. The information we're being fed is contradictory... I'm not certain any of it is truly reliable.

...And I'm not eager to make any decisions. Any, at all, like this...

But I would never ask for a sacrifice of this magnitude from anyone else.

I know...being helpless is a horrible feeling.

But I promise, we're going to do whatever we can to save them. And without sacrificing.

Because I know they wouldn't want that guilt.
