[ And the rest of it takes place today! Those who know her might have known she's been putting on a brave face for awhile re: her life crumbling around her ears, but now...now, she definitely looks very happy. The salon is running itself now with all her employees on a good roster, it's probably going to stop being ass-butt cold soon, and- AND.

Well, that one's a surprise. But she's in the library today, browsing the shelves and humming quietly to herself, unable to wipe the smile off of her face. Obviously, bothering should commence. ]

That's right. It's the facade one uses to overcome life's hardships.

That's correct. At home, I could only do it under special circumstances, but here I can do it all the time...it's kind of strange, really. I've never really found out why that is.

It's possible that it is tied to the intrinsic nature of this world. What are these special circumstances?

It's sort of a long story. But simply put, at home, there was a whole different world accessible through television sets, called the TV World. We could summon our Personas there to do battle with the monsters - the Shadows - within.

It must be then that this world must have similar properties to the one you encountered.

That'd be the sensible conclusion. We still don't know much about that world, but I guess they both have the potential for magic...or something like that.
