So what, pray tell, is the next godforsaken holiday on the castle's calender. I feel I should be keeping on my toes...

[Which he is, in this case literally, as he reaches up for some tea on a high shelf in the kitchen. Making tea is a harder than normal process when injured. He places the tea on the counter and runs a hand through his slightly curly red hair, which is loose and wild about his shoulders, since tying it back requires more than one hand. Now, where was that tea kettle?]

So I hear is the pattern with most of the castle's chosen holidays. But what is it about?

The holidays? Um, well, in general, they're for celebrating things...though I never really paid much attention to them, so I don't know a lot about what holidays there are.

It's hard not to pay attention to these holidays when the castle seems to go out of it's way to make sure we observe them.

Kind of...I've been here for a few weeks now.

It doesn't get much better. I've been here over two months and yet I feel constantly as if I have arrived in a foreign country I have never even heard of.

So might say you're foolish for even seeing a bright side, but...I cannot help but agree with you there. I'm not sure how anyone could ever be bored here, with so many new things about oneself. Of course, rather more of this is new to me than to others.
