¤ 10 - Lesson learned

[normally, the turkeys would be driving him up the wall. There would be shouting and singed feathers, and something would likely get blown up. But, spending two weeks without his fire seems to have had some kind of effect.

He is currently sitting halfway up the staircase leading from the lobby, staying mostly free of turkey-related violence. And how is he keeping them at bay, you ask? He's using his temporary powers to feed them, throwing batches of oyster crackers down the steps into the lobby... and any that get riled enough to come up the stairs and get too close are getting beaned in the head by bagels]

So... this festival I keep hearing about... it's about giving thanks?

[scoff]

This place just has to rub it in.

[she might have scolded at that...if the damn birds hadn't already proved to be disastrously annoying. Instead, she's just going to be a bit awed and confused by what she just saw]

Okay..I know they say you see something new every day, and here that's an understatement...but magical bagels is a new one.
