U-um, I'm...very sorry for my behaviour over the past few days. It seems like I was on a very strange loss, and...well, that's no excuse, of course. But if there's anything I can do to make up for it, please.

Like alternate events than what we remember as being true. Yosuke-kun and I seem to remember the same thing...when we were on that loss, did you remember Inaba being different?

Hm? Oh, no, it was nothing like that...this was before Adachi got here at all. Souji did something...well, unforgivable.

It's a very long story. But, basically...there was a world-change, to this more medieval place. I'm still not really sure of its name.

But the world became invaded with demons, and the most powerful of those demons tempted a few castle residents with great power. Supposedly, they preyed on their greatest weaknesses to make them give in, since in order to get this power...they had to sacrifice their closest friends. Souji said he resisted, but it doesn't matter in the end.

He- he killed Chie, and nearly did the same to Nanako. Then, once he was an Apostle, he heavily injured myself and Yosuke-kun as well. I could forget the injury if it was a loss, but he was entirely in control of his actions...and I can never forgive him for that.

S-Senpai did all that? And--he--

God dammit! No wonder Nanako was afraid back during that festival! She probably didn't want something like that to happen again.

Just--shit man, if only I got here a little sooner. I coulda--I probably coulda stopped him and knocked him to his senses!!

I'm sorry you guys had to go through that... I know it might not mean much, but I swear that if something like this were to happen again while I'm here I'll knock him--or anyone else back to their senses!

[A pause.]

W-Well, I dunno what I'd do if something like that happened to you or Chie-senpai, or Naoto... But I'll think of something!

[ God, she just wants to hug you forever, Kanji. There's a pleased noise across the journal before she speaks again. ]

I know, Kanji-kun, but I'm glad you weren't there- it really was horrible. That, more than anything, is why the team isn't spending much time together anymore.
