Ahem.

[ There's the sound of a great deal of shuffling, a thump, and a sigh. Jaina's straightening something, stacking something, moving something. ]

I'm afraid that I may be in need of assistance. I've recently acquired a great deal of .. things. Foods, artifacts, useless items - mostly food. It's all very fresh, and my room has become quite cluttered, so I'd be very grateful if-

[ something tumbles to the ground, and there's a series of thuds - sounds like a stack of books have been knocked over; Jaina mutters. ]

- if any of you would be so kind to relieve me of it. The food and drink, at least, I'm sure most of you would enjoy.

[ Have some free [ Honeymint Tea ] and [ Worthless Piece of Green Glass ] and [ Willow Belt of the Owl ] and maybe even some [ Sulfuron Slammer ] if you're lucky. ]

I enjoy the quiet.

[ Souls have a looooot of calories. Besides, you could be the Coors spokesman with all that ice. Do I see a potbelly beginning- ]

As do I. Though I've grown accustomed to having very little of it.

[Light scoff] Even here? Interesting.

[ the stress it's causing her is UNGODLY, you don't even know. ]

Of course I am. I get enough rest. [ most of the time. some of the time. occasionally. ]

Then surely you have plenty of quiet, hm?

I don't understand why you're arguing with me. Whether or not I have quiet is none of your concern, nor is it your judgment.

I'm not angry. Just bewildered.

[He is five years old. He's also chuckling at that comment. You're always bewildered in his presence.]

[ he sure is. maturity, what maturity. even when you were sweet you were still a stupid brat. and hey that's not true! she's felt.. other things .. in his presence, as well. ]

[It adds to his charm. And he knows that too.]

Just like old times, then. [Pause, his voice flattens] Anything else?

[ .. uh huh. :| ]

.. I wouldn't quite say that. [ sting. ]

No. That's all. You're free to go.

[That's ok -- it helps more than it hurts -- in a backwards sort of fashion. He closes the journal quietly for a change, with only one word:]
