I'll be out of the castle for a while. Although he's pretty self-sufficient, could you keep an eye on Ruffian for me? [Since the cat seems most adept at blowing her cover, and that's absolutely the last thing 7 needs!]

[She wasn't sure how she'd never thought of it before, but it finally occurred to her to wish for the castle to make her journal more size appropriate, and would now fit securely in her pocket.]

[It's been a while since anyone actually...gave him a birthday card except for Charles and Prudence. And have a munfudged date because Marvel can't even give this guy a real name]

How do we do this?

People tend to decorate a room and get th birthday person in there and yell surprise. [That's what they do on TV anyway]

[A pause.] Well, that doesn't sound too complicated. We could probably wish up the decorations and get the ghosts to help.

[A small sound of consideration,] We'd need a secure room, though, what with Meta on the loose.

Well, there has to be some sort of safe room in this place...somewhere. Where's York holed up at the moment?

He's in the TARDIS, or, well, one of them. I don't think we could get access without him knowing.

Oh yeah. Those things are all kinds of weird. Hmm. Maybe one of the rooms, with just people keeping a close eye. How powerful is this Meta guy?

Do you know the Doctor? Maybe we could ask him to help ... ?

I haven't really seen him in action, but he just looks like he could take on anything, and I guess twice already he's attacked residents and left them for dead. He's certainly got York worried

Not a problem, 7. If we're watching both sides, it'll make conflict a heck of a lot less likely.
