[ vincent was on his way tostalk check up on gilbert as per usual when he immediately notices that the nameplate is gone ]
...
[ thinking gil just moved without telling him (again), he quickly opens the door. it's entirely empty, to which vince gives a series of small, quiet laughs ]
Gil.... Gilbert, that's not funny.
[ more laughing as he's going around dropping things onto the floor and making a downright mess. normally he'd be all over dealing with gil's leftover PETS in the room too but he's luckily too distracted. starly is freaking out right along with him. ]
No, brother, no... you haven't ever left me. You're not capable of leaving me! [ CRASH. a vase just smacked into the wall ]
Right... it's this place, right? Hehe..hehehe! It took you from me just like the Abyss! That doesn't mean that I won't find you again, brother! I'll find you and....hehehehe.....[ because he does have a heart buried deep, deep, deep, deep, deep in that subconscious somewhere, he slinks to his knees, very much like an abandoned child and not a supposed 123 year old ] We'll be together again right, Gil? Since you belong to me only.
[ he wouldn't remember a single bad thing that Vincent did or said while he was here in Paradisa. It was perfect right? Right.... ]

kinda just stands in the doorway staring. once the shock wears off he'll be alright, because these things happen, that is how this place is after all. people come and go, he knew gil could leave at any time ]
