[ Lambda was on her bed just chillin' a chill. her bed was littered with several candies just thrown around. along with those, there were multiple boxes full of unfinished cakes and pastries... and instead of cleaning up her mess, Lambchops was focused on the cup of soda and milk she was mixing... ]

Hmhm~ [ kicking her feet, she watched that nasty drank ... not mix well. BUT WHATEVER. it was fun doing all that anyway just to see what would happen ]

Hey, Bern~kastel. What do you think of this place so far? Have you found anyone interesting yet?

[Bern is just sitting on the side of Lambdadelta's bed, leafing through a book of poetry; she glances over from it when Lambda speaks, but turns her attention back to the book before replying]

This place is enough to keep me occupied... is that a good enough answer?

As for the people.... well, I have my eye on a few. Mildly interesting, or mildly useful... either way works for now.

Occupied? Well, maybe you and me, sure. [ sigh before grabbing a jellybean, rolling it in her fingers, and squishing it ] But nobody else seems to do anything.

[ groans and rolls on her back ] Are there even any real villains here to stir things up? Any bad guys? Che. No one's even paid attention to our murders in town! You'd think with this many 'good guys' crawling around that they'd get up and do something. [ groan ] Don't even get me started on that resident's murder a week or so ago. Do they even U~SE their heads?

Villains? I'm sure there are. Most of them take a good amount of time to plan their moves, though. The villains here aren't going to play speed chess.

[she grabs a can of soda that's sitting around and takes a sip of it... then gives it a funny look before setting it down- soda wasn't meant for witches :/]

As for their willful ignorance.... that's merely human nature. There's a reason humans are truly boring until stirred up. Maybe we should be observing the townspeople more than the ones in the castle? They notice things, at least.

Hah? Does it really take that long to plan things? My closed room-jail mystery was something I easily came up with! [ eats that squished jelly bean ] Oh, but I guess not everyone can turn the entire city into their game board.

That's true. Seems like the residents here are waiting for what the Castle itself might throw at them.. Rather than focus on some other resident's doing.. Remember that girl that was beheaded? There was no news at all about it! Before and after. I mean, it took place at the lobby, right? And all people did was mess around with the thing. Really, what a bore.

[ though... she laughs at Bern after she set down her soda ] Ahahahahaha, what kind of face was that?

That's... not a very suitable drink. [she materializes a tea cup and proceeds to sip from that, setting down her poetry book for a moment]

But it seems hard to predict what people will do around here at times. At the very least, that beheading should have brought out a bigger reaction. Ignoring the city is one thing, but that is right on their doorsteps, and one of their "own" as it were.

Though, honestly. I know I at least hold some respect for the dead....

[ laughs ] But still, having residents mess around with the body. That was messed up! Do these people not really care? Is this what happens when you're given nearly anything you can wish for?

I mean, if it takes spiders to rile them up~ How lame! And to think we present them with mysteries they could easily solve.. If they would. just. think. [ groan ] I can't take this. These pieces aren't even worth having their wishes granted by me! I've never ran into such Kakera with humans so lazy!
