[Out by the duck pond, this kid throwing bread to the ducks. She happens to be... Well, as deep in thought as a kid her age can get. Also she can't throw very well, so the bread is kinda going everywhere. Oh well. ]

Mmhm. [Pauses a little ways away from her, just kind of... watching them. They're so cute, jesus]

Well... actually I'm looking after him for Abel. [Sort of. Abel's brother really. But y'know... whatevs]

He is... surprisingly good, for how [tiny] young he is. I was surprised Abel of all people was able to train him so well. [By which he means, at all...]

Adam! Here boy! Don't bother the ducks... Does he know how to fetch? I don't have a ball but I'm sure I can find a stick for him.

[Adam kind of... keeps running for a little bit before races over and parking his doggy self at her feet]

[She looks around and... OH HAY there's a stick. She picks it up and holds it up and waggles it for the little dog]

[She nods] I've had him for a long time. We would go for walks everyday in the afternoon and Miss Sakaki would come too sometimes. At night he would sleep in my room and he made it easier for me to get around if I got tired...
