I'm sorry for getting mad at you. [a pause] It isn't really my place to give you a full explanation of that person, but when Guts gets like that, there's really no reasoning with him, and it's ... definitely understandable. That guy is an awful person who's done a lot of terrible things. I had to knock Guts out instead of bringing him back like I normally can.

Don't you people realise that man would be back in two weeks and that he'll be more pissed off and more inclined to do terrible things as retribution?!

I know what it takes to bring him back, and I knew I could have handled it at the time. If I really didn't care about what happened to the townspeople, then I wouldn't have gotten involved at all.

By that logic, does that make what the 14th doing right? The Millennium Earl certainly made his life hell and killing him with his own hands would make him feel better. The Earl certainly deserves to die too.
