[with his copies in his backpack, he's headed through the castle, looking forward to his day of talking about the amazing way that Dean and Sam will save the world!]

[ooc: Loss Start, and he'll hit three floors a week so I'm trying to keep things straight for my OCD with comments for each day, they aren't all in here now, so I've left a comment for you to say you'd like Chuck to show up and what room number you are in and when that thread goes up, I'll reply to you!]

Oh, it's alright. This is according to one of God's angels. [nods]

[what the heck. She's heard stranger things. No, really]

[Leaning back to set the book on a shelf by the door, she'll play along. After all, anything's possible in this place] So is this the armageddon brought on by vampires? [she's heard a bit about that reality from the young Pope already]

Vampires? No. Angels opted to try and just even the score and make it happen.

... that doesn't sound very angelic...

Yeah, most of them aren't very nice. It's because it's been so long in the making, sort of like they just don't know any better.

But! That's okay! Because Sam and Dean are going to save us.

[have a mildly surprised look]

Sam and Dean? Not Jesus? [considering the son of God had just shown up in the castle, she'd figured this was connected to him]

Jesus? [shakes his head] Oh, that's old - I mean, he had his time and did his good deeds. This is like today, twenty-first century type biblical stuff going on.

[a laugh] Alright... not Jesus. [that actually made her feel... better]

So who are Sam and Dean?

They're the Winchesters. They're the lead characters in my book. [points to it lightly]

They - uh, don't look like that. [shakes his head] See, a long time ago Michael and Lucifer had a little fight, things happened and Lucifer got banished to Hell. Well, people didn't like that and over time a lot of smaller events got pushed into place and now he's free. Not so good.

[arching an eyebrow] The devil is free? And these two [a glance at the Fabio-esque characters on the cover]... are going to stop him?

Seems like a big job.

Yeah, they don't look like that. [shakes his head again] It wasn't my choice for the cover art.

It's a very big job, but that's why I'm spreading the word. See, if people believe in them? If people think that they can do it? Then they'll have the support from other people. Then it won't seem so horrible, it'll boost them up! [nods]

[well, she could hardly argue with that]

That makes sense, I suppose. [smiling] Wouldn't that support be better from their friends and family, though? Blind faith from strangers can be nice... but it's not much better than people who simply refuse to believe something without looking into it.

Well, see - if you read the book, you'll know that they don't have very many friends. They do a lot of traveling around. Here in the castle, it might be different, but back home, well, they don't have very much.

The other problem, is that every time they go back home and come back to the castle? It's worse. They blame themselves, they have all this guilt.

[sighs] I think if more people knew their stories, knew what they have been through? They'd see that it's not their fault, and that the only thing they can do is realize that they're helping a lot of people.

[her amusement fades... this was something that she understood more.]

So they're here in the castle. [another glance at the book] So many people carry guilt they don't deserve. I'd be happy to help. Only-

I can certainly read it... but will they want their life story shared with everyone? I mean... understanding is good, but it seems a bit like prying.

Yeah, see I thought of that. [poor Chuck, this loss will be the end of him]

The books have been out for a while, and they know that I was given this task from the Heavens, I mean I was told these books one day will be the Gospel of Winchester. I figure they should get used to people believing in them. [nods, and figures it's just the first book, and he didn't tell them that there are others in the library]

See, I was given visions of their lives - but since coming to the castle, I lost them. So I'm not useful anymore to them. [smiles] I'm just trying to help.

I see. [on that note, she's just going to set the book aside and quietly forget about it.

...buuttt, Chuck's concern is still really understandable] I think it's really sweet of you to be looking out for them so much. You might want to ask them if this is okay, before you hand out too many books, though.

Oh, I'm just not allowed to write any new books. [nods]

I mean, that's what Sam said.

[that sounded like a cry for privacy if she ever heard one. Maybe someone should warn them that their life story was being passed around]

...if I wanted to meet them, they're here in the castle?

[nods]

Oh yeah. We're all friends. I mean, the warning is from the future. Sam is from a bit ahead of me, and I guess there was a convention, and some benefactor and he told me I shouldn't write any more books.

...I see. [running a hand through her hair, a bit bemused] Well, I'll keep an eye out for them, then.

Awesome.

Well, you can keep the book. [since he has asked the castle for a LOT of them]

Maybe later, when I have time I could see your paintings.

Sure. The one I'm working on right now is a gift, but I'm hoping to work on more, soon. [once she could afford more canvases]
