Might as well do this while I'm thinking about it. Hi, I'm Alec McDowell. Figured I'd say hey so that everyone knows I'm the sane one. To put it mildly. I'm sure Maxie's already mentioned my twin brother, Ben. So this is me introducing myself so that everyone knows who I am.

Really though, I should go. [said softly, not that she would mind staying, but she did have other things to do today, like laundry]

Mmmm... maybe another time, Alec. [there is reluctance in that, because it's been a long time since someone wanted her to stay, but she did actually have to go, and she knew if she stayed she'd end up doing something that really was honestly too soon to be doing with the guy she just met a week and a half ago. Even by magic castle standards, actually especially since she couldn't just assume she'd never see him again. He lived right next door to her. The way of the Hunter wasn't going to give her any excuse this time]

I won't avoid you for a week, how's that? [there's a look of pleading as she pulls away from him]

[He can tell just by the tone in her voice but he gives a nod and won't stop her. Not that he knows her reasoning behind it]

[her life is just currently complicated, and while she's pretty certain she just made a choice, she needs to make sure that she's making it for the right reasons]

Good. [stands up and stretches a bit, because she hadn't realized how comfortable she'd been until she wasn't anymore]

I'll be safe too. [she nodded, since that was the whole reason he'd asked her over] No exploding laundry room incidents today. I'll make sure of it.

[all this extra talking, is just prolonging her leaving, which might be the point, but well, she's still there, so she'll lean down, hovering over him on the couch there and kiss him one more time, for the road - or something]

[Yes it is and she shouldn't tease a guy like that. He pulls her down a bit kissing her back. Didn't she say something about leaving though? Can't do that if she's kissing the kitten.]

[she was totally leaving, honest to something, she was on her way out, but then there was tugging and the warmth of another body, and maybe she could stay a tiny bit longer, especially now that she was back on the couch - on his lap to be specific]

[Of course she was. If she'd not of leaned over him and kissed him he probably wouldn't of tugged her back down. Maybe... But he gives a deep rumbling purr and even gives a small laugh to her words]

[her hands move from the cushion and arm of the couch, to the back of his neck, letting her fingers slip into his hair a bit, as she hovered over his mouth]

[He brushes his own fingers through her hair giving her a small smile as he does]

That's what you told me.

[contemplating this for a moment, she hummed in thought]

Yep, I thought that's what I said. [exhaling slowly, she pulled away, once more and stood up]

I mean it this time too. [grins]

I will see you later though. [her eyes light up] I'll be wearing clean clothing too! Because - I'm gonna go do laundry.

[he gives a chuckle and shakes his head even if a part of him wanted to drag her back down to him]

[yes, please let the girl leave so she can have clean clothing - despite not going to need it once she loses this bet with Dean, still the effort will be made, and she grins back at him, then heads back to her own room to collect clothing and do laundry]
