I knew this was another trick of the castle's. I was a fool to think it would give me what I wanted.

[Decus, having managed to get himself totally and completely lost in the middle of nowhere for the past several days, has finally made his way back into Winchester. He's exhausted, thirsty, starving, and thinking he's still hallucinating from the heat.]

... oh, that isn't fair. It was bad enough when I kept seeing lakes and pools of water, but now I'm hallucinating the entire town?

[Someone come tell him this is real? Or laugh at him, whichever you'd prefer.]

[A very soggy Decus is walking down the hall on the first floor, making an interesting "squish" noise with each step and trying to wring out his ponytail. Passers-by may notice that he's muttering to himself while walking; if they don't pick that up, they'll definitely spot the miniature puddles he's leaving in his wake.]

This rain is really starting to get ridiculous. I can't believe we haven't had a single day of sunshine yet this month. And I thought the castle wanted to keep us happy...

[Those wandering the hallways of the castle might bump into a blue-haired young man pacing back and forth and mumbling to himself. Though he might seem a bit eccentric, he's harmless, really... well, most of the time, at least.]

Sixteen hours and twenty-three minutes... where could she be? What if she's been captured, or she's lost somewhere, or she lost control of her monsters... I should go look for her!

[Straightening up, he starts marching off down the hall resolutely, only to stop short a few moments later.]

But what if she comes looking for me while I'm searching for her? Perhaps I should stay here and wait for her. Yes, the tantalizing scent of my Eau de Seduction will lead her right to me.

[He reaches into his pocket to pull out the familiar flask, which is... no longer there. Cue a double-take and him frantically patting himself down.]
