I've been thinking a lot about what I'll do once I'm able to see again. Mostly, I really want to go out and see everything I can, and spend time with all my friends...I wonder if any of them look like I think they do.

[ A pause. ]

That's strange, it's really cold here. Maybe I took a wrong turn again--

...hello? Is someone there?

[ No other voices, or even other sounds, can be heard. The voice that can be heard, though, sounds slightly worried. ]

Who's there?

[ A short gasp and the beginning of a shocked cry can be heard, and then nothing. ]

{ ooc; kidnapped, obvi. feel free to reply, but...well, emil obviously won't be. }

There really are an awful lot of books at the library here...it's way bigger than the one back home. I didn't think it would take me this long to go through them, but it's better than nothing. And since I've been marking the shelves I've been to already, that means I won't get lost in there!

...though I'm sorry if anything I used was yours; they were all things I found on the floor, and no one was around at the time...if you need it back, that's fine!

[ He'll be in the library if you'd prefer to meet him in person, rather than respond over the journals. And if you'd like to be missing something, feel free to find it among the shelves. ]

[ Dictated through the journal: ]

Is it still snowing outside? I never really got the chance to go out and play back home, because my butler was always worried that something would happen or I'd get hurt, maybe.

But even if I did go out now, I don't really know what I'd do...

[ There's a moment's pause before Emil speaks again. ]

Um, is it normal if someone doesn't know how old they are, or when their birthday is? I never really thought about it before, but there's a lot I don't know, now that I've been thinking about it more. I don't even remember my parents, or if I even have a family...it's kind of weird.

[ He trails off there for now, but he'll be sitting in the lobby with the journal for a while, most likely. ]

[ The slow shuffle of footsteps is picked up, along with a young boy's voice; he sounds a bit less confused than he did in his last post here, though slightly concerned. ]

Um, thank you to everyone who helped me out when I first got here...everyone's so helpful and generous, I don't know how to repay all of you...

But it's strange, even though I've been here for a while, I still can't seem to remember where everything is in my room. I even have trouble finding the door...it's a little embarrassing.

[ Good listeners might be able to hear his steps kind of catch a bit; anyone who can see will notice something showing up on the page of the journal...it's spaghetti sauce. Enjoy that. ]

[ Over the journal, a good deal of shuffling and thudding around can be heard. It sounds like someone or something is...well, trying to walk around, instead bumping into a lot of things in the process. As this continues, a voice, that of a young male, can be heard: ]

Oh, I hope Sebastian wasn't moving things around in here...he knows how difficult it is to get around when he does that-- ow!

[ Another thud. This does not seem to be working well for him. ]

I'm sure he meant well, but it's a lot easier when I know where everything is. Now, I thought it was around here...it should be...

[ Pause. ]

Wh-where did the door go!?

About the Archive

"Paradisa Lost" is the archive of what the journals contained between December 1st, 2006 and January 10th, 2012. On that final day, Paradisa issued new journals, so that the residents could fill them up again. While there are still residents around who have old journals, we have chosen to preserve the old journals here for muns' reference and history.

"Lost" in the title refers to both the old journals that the residents once kept, and also to our move to Dreamwidth from the original Livejournal community, where Paradisa started. It is a fresh start for muns, as well as for the characters.
