Σ007; preparing for the storm.
[Because the Doctor believes in being prepared, she's hanging out in the lobby, doing a test run of her dress for the Christmas ball. Most people probably don't think of it, but you ask a lot of things of a dress for a ball that will probably end in disaster. You want something not likely to fall awkwardly in a crisis (which meant strapless was out, not that it was ever in), with a full skirt for maximum mobility, and preferably something you're not as likely to trip over when you're running. Not to mention she has to be able to wear flats with it, because heels + running tend to end in twisted ankles.
She's trying to sort out the problem of no pockets right now, which is (obviously) why she's settled comfortably onto a couch in the lobby with her journal and a few essentials - sonic screwdriver, a small torch, a handkerchief, duct tape, and a handful of other very important odds and ends.
Written:] I don't suppose anyone knows of a very large bag or a jacket with lots of pockets that go with formal dress?
