Today is a day to give thanks - for any and all of the things and people in our lives we should be grateful for. For the little things we overlook, and for the big things we cannot avert our eyes from. Though this castle is capable of great feats of cruelty, it's also given us things for which we should be thankful... Second chances with people we thought long gone, or precious moments of peace from worlds plagued with conflict, famine, and war.
Without this opportunity, I never would've had the chance to experience all of you. And for that, I'm especially grateful. Thank you for being wonderful friends.
[it's five o'clock; the church in the Satis tower is decorated with beautiful wreaths thanks to Amanda Grayson and her generosity. room has been made for a long table, on which sits all the typical Thanksgiving fixings, as well as a few extras. it smells so good!
come one, come all!]
