019 - Training Day

[Shinobu decided to spend the afternoon in the gym, doing a little bit of something on almost every type of machine there is and taking a break in between. With the way she's watching the numbers go up and down on the touch pads or her limbs pushing and pulling with the machines, it's safe to say she's serious about this workout.

At some point, she found her way to a punching bag and is having at it. She's hitting most of the time, but judging by her technique her punches and kicks aren't packing a whole lot of power. She's quick, though. Speed was always her strong suit.]

It's not going to happen next time.

[A fist is pulled back far, then pounded into the bag.]

It's better to stay on guard just in case. There are a lot of people around here who can mess you up if you're not careful.

[Shrugs.] Sure, I guess. Way I see it, it's better to be too careful than not careful enough. You never know for sure when something's going to turn on you. Least you can do is be prepared.
