[Naruto is in his toddler's nursery, putting her to bed for what he can assume is the last time since it'll be a week tomorrow, so the aura around him probably isn't the happiest; Miso picks up on it and stands up in her crib, grabbing his nose :(]

[he can't help but feel a burn behind his eyes despite not wanting to and shakes his head, trying to grin ear to ear and kisses her nose in return, earning a giggle] I'm just a little tired, don't worry. It's late, isn't it?

[she nods a bit dumbly, blinking up and flicking her ears in confusion]

[he tries to think of something awesome to say but is blanking so hard, finding it hard to be positive about this D: even though he kept telling people it'll end well] Sleep well, okay? I'll always be here if you need me... [ruffles her hair, smiling again] I love you, brat.

[she beams like him and hugs his neck, planting a wet kiss on his cheek before falling back into bed] Night night!

[he gets up but then decides to stay in there by her crib, folding his arms on top of it and burying his head in them in case he falls asleep]
