I spent all day combing through the town police force's files. I've pulled every case that might be connected to a castle resident. A lot of missing person cases, dating back quite a ways.
Speaking to their chief, it seems like their policy is to ignore anything that might be connected to us. That's why we never hear anything from them. But from now on, every case of a missing person or an assault from a castle resident is going to be forwarded right to the Peace Patrol. When it happens, we'll know. This way, there won't be any dozens of missing people and us completely in the dark.
I'm considering adding a few surveillance cameras. The question is where to put them, how many we need, and what the other residents will think. Someone like the Master or Superboy-Prime would disable them in a heartbeat, should we put them in the castle. I imagine the average resident would put up a few complaints as well.
Jet, nice work with the watch list and physical descriptions. For Hidan, you could probably ask Ino or Shikamaru; they warned me about Hidan when he first appeared. As for Akabane, the only person I know who's dealt with him directly is Naruto.
I'd also like to take a minute to thank everybody who's joined the Peace Patrol, or helped us out even without joining. We're not getting anything for doing all of this, but you're all willing to help to try and keep people safe. It takes a lot of guts to be willing to do that. So thanks.
