He recognises her instantly as Kate Kane, Batwoman, a person he'd known in Paradisa and, although his memories were trying to tell him otherwise, he had worked with her quite recently as a part of Batman Inc back home. Damian hadn't mentioned her though, and Dick - as preoccupied with being back in Paradisa and the slow, sometimes painful returning of his memories as he'd been - hadn't asked. Perhaps he'd assumed she'd returned home, too, in which case, it was possible that Kate may be in the same predicament as Dick himself.
