The One in the Lobby

[The lobby coffee shop is somewhat peaceful. Though, Jo is trying to figure out her menu plan for the holiday and how to get Julia to not be so depressed over her own brother being a jerk. It's really not Jo's fault. Of course, he was always the favorite, so she's really not surprised to see this huge fall from grace. It just upsets her to see her friend (and her brother) so upset.

Honestly, her brother is miserable. If she has to look at Gwaine and hear that sad, near-honking, '...hhhhi' again? Yeah, there will be blood.

You can find Jo buzzing between the kitchen in the Lux and the couches in the coffee shop. She should be working, but it's the middle of the day! Who wants to work?]

Over? [She sighs.] Gwaine, I think that it's a rough spot. Maybe you two just needed some time and this will be good for you.

I mean, we're all trapped here. It's not like back home where we can go camping for a weekend trip or you she can go away to a shopping and spa weekend.

[Her hand goes to give his elbow a squeeze.]

We're together all the time. It wears on a person.

Not that she needed to never see you ever again in the castle, right?

Then, just relax. Stop over-thinking about it. You're my brother, and I love you, but you worry about too many things.

I worry plenty. [Mostly about him.] I just don't have time to worry about this and Thanksgiving.

[She glances down at her notes]

Eight. I think.

Eight? Just eight? [He reaches over to test her temperature with the back of his hand.] We may actually see parts of the table under all the food this year?

[huntersdaughter]

[She glances up at him as he does the temperature taking.]

Ha Ha. The table is big... and there's going to be a lot of food, just not as many different things. I have to make quantity over variety.
