The One in the Lobby
Who: Anyone!
Where:
When: Monday. All Day.
Notes: Threadjacking. Action. Prose. It's all welcome.
[The lobby coffee shop is somewhat peaceful. Though, Jo is trying to figure out her menu plan for the holiday and how to get Julia to not be so depressed over her own brother being a jerk. It's really not Jo's fault. Of course, he was always the favorite, so she's really not surprised to see this huge fall from grace. It just upsets her to see her friend (and her brother) so upset.
Honestly, her brother is miserable. If she has to look at Gwaine and hear that sad, near-honking, '...hhhhi' again? Yeah, there will be blood.
You can find Jo buzzing between the kitchen in the Lux and the couches in the coffee shop. She should be working, but it's the middle of the day! Who wants to work?]

[She's just... looking for random crap to talk about. Rambling about nothing while she drinks coffee like her life depends on it. It's vastly preferable to anything else she can come up with right now.
Do something, Max :(]

Want to hear the song I'm working on for Christmas?

Why not?

(probably, sorry)bad, this should distract her from her issues for the time being.]no subject

Don't blame the mun for being too lazy to write that. And the resulting reaction, of course, will also be customary. The small smile she gives at the end of that isn't to be polite so much as an expression of relief that it's over.]That was... nice, Max.
[... Can they put alcohol in this coffee now?]

Thanks! It still needs a bit of work, but it should be totally ready for Christmas.

You'll work it out.
no subject
And so will you.
[nope. not letting the Gwaine thing go.]

She's quiet for a while, sipping idly on her coffee. Until she eventually runs out.]
I don't know.

My... what?

[flashes her a grin]
Gwaine is your lobster.
no subject
Do you really think so?
no subject
[it's just instinct. and if Max is good at anything, it's trusting her instincts.]
no subject
So should I give him another chance?
no subject
Do you want to? Like, deep deep deep down, underneath all the badness.
no subject
A quiet breath.]
Yes.

Then I think you should do it. You'll be happier that way.
