These colors make my eyes hurt

Who: Elektra Natchios, people she likes, and probably anyone who feels like showing up.
What: Lunch at the Lux and Hot Springs later
When: Saturday afternoon-evening
Where: Starting at the Lux and ending at the Hot Springs
Rating: PG? It's just a nice get together.
Notes: Prose to start but, it's encouraged to move to commentspam.

Elektra was not the type of person to arrange a get together. She was the type to reluctantly show up to one after being prodded endlessly about it and hope to get in as little interaction as possible. So why throw one? What did she have to gain? Nothing; she found (not for the first time) she cared. There was not a lot of time in her opinion before something went terribly wrong in the castle. Paranoia from years of having strangers try to kill her aside, a lot of ugly things occurred here. An uncomfortable amount of it was directed at her and people she favored. It made sense to give all of them a good day to look back on whenever the castle decided to turn on them. This was how Elektra decided to justify moving out of her comfort zone for today.

With the leaves still in full force, a picnic outside wouldn't be very practical. Thankfully the Lux always made for a nice alternative. In the early afternoon hours, Elektra sat the Lux waiting for the others. She thinks she made the right choice picking this place. It was inviting and they head out to the springs right away after they finished here. Honestly she found it a lot easier to have someone else do all the cooking. Elektra was already taking a big enough step asking for her companion's time. Cooking for them would be pushing it.

"Yes, I don't think it could be anything else." He manages to stay optimistic enough, though. "At least it's not too bad."

"I know. Everyone here is always so nice..." In a way, he seems almost sheepish. "I'm really happy for it."

That was probably true, though it wasn't like he knew it well enough to change that much. "The people I talk to...they're good people, right?"

"No..." It wasn't as though he knew much about what friends should and shouldn't do for each other, but as far as he knew, nothing he'd done here was bad. "It's fine, right?"

He still doesn't seem entirely free of worry, though. "Do people ask you to do bad things for them?"

"That's good." It's nice to know, not just because he's counted in that number, but also because he really does feel that his friends deserve the best. "They're like you, then. Since you're a good person, too."

"Well, I think you're a really great person."
