Careful, be careful

Who: Elektra Natchios and You! (Candy Bonsai employees are especially welcome)
What: An ex-assassin reflects while running her candy shop?
When: July 24th, afternoon
Where: Candy Bonsai
Rating: PGish...?

It was a simple job that catered to all her idiosyncrasies. She would move around the store stocking, cleaning, pacing around, and occasionally speaking to customers. Alright that last one more of a hazard of the job but, it had its benefits. It kept Elektra out of her head for a little while. It was never the most pleasant place to be.

Elektra spent every single day for the past few years under the assumption she was always being chased. People, mainly the Hand, wanted her dead for whatever reason. This time they wanted it to stick. That was perfectly fine with her. She was dealing out enough death and destruction to earn whatever was coming her way.

Things were different here. For the past year there hadn't been the same level of violence she was accustomed to and she certainly wasn't dealing it out to anyone first. When it did crop up, there was always plenty of people to take care of it. Someone or something wanted castle residents hurt or dead in these scenarios, not her specifically. That was the way she liked it. Playing hero wasn't exactly her strong suit. She rather stay out of this if at all possible. If she was not targeted directly, why bother?

The only problem with that was she cared enough to intervene with the demons, aliens, spirits who stole kids, vampires, and everything else that proved a threat. People had noticed long before her this pattern of behavior and expected it now. Even more importantly, she thinks as she restocks the chocolate frogs, is the man who originally owned the Candy Bonsai would want her to help with what was coming next.

The next thing was something she honestly dreaded. Elektra would not let it show on the surface though if she could help it. Instead she was going to stand here in a silly sundress and high heels for a few hours to make sure everything ran smoothly at the shop, go back to her room and train harder than ever, meditate, and then rest.

It would be the perfect plan if not for the fact it was always so tricky to line up frogs in a neat row.
