Clark glanced up at the numbers, watching them light up one by one, successfully resisting the urge to hum along to the elevator music. He didn't even know the right tune; it was just one of those earworms programmed into everyone's brain. Standard elevator jingle.

Humming in front of the other elevator patrons would be a bit embarrassing, especially since the elevator was so oddly full.

... and then it stopped.

Normally Akihiko didn't let his patience slip easily but Sora was pushing it.

"You thought wrong, apparently." He sighed and looked up at the ceiling. It was going to be a long night.

At least Jin wasn't the only one who was losing his patience... not that it mattered. He gave a cold look to Sora, his green eyes narrowing.

"You aren't helping in the slightest. Now, you'd better do well to follow orders and silence yourself."

... Geez, it looks like everyone got up on the wrong side of bed this morning. "Well... okay. Just as long as there's nothing else I can do, right?" He knew about orders! He was in an army once! He could follow orders, really!

Poor kid. He was only trying to help, it wasn't his fault that the elevator was full of girly-looking guys with tempers of menopausal women.

"Don't sweat it, kid," Ted said from the other side of the elevator, flashing him a grin. "Just sit back and let... well, the castle handle it, I guess. Magic's gotta wear off somehow, right?" Bah. Magic.

Ted got a cheerful nod! "That's right!" Sora paused, then quickly clapped his hands over his mouth. Oops, he forgot. Better be more careful next time! He wanted to comment that it'd probably be more fun if people got to know each other in here and maybe made friends, but if everyone in here took their grumpy pills in the morning... It probably wouldn't do any good.

Sigh. Now he sorta wished Riku was here.
