Clark ran his fingers along the groove of the door, just so he could force them open, rather than break them out. He gave it a gentle shove –– something that could have folded thinner metal doors in half –– to no avail. He gave a confused "huh" and tried again, continuously applying more and more pressure until he had to put actual effort into it.
With a frown, he scanned the door, only to get a lot of blank white glare bouncing back.
"It's definitely the castle, not the mechanics," he said, with a sigh. "Magic."
