If the reactions overheard in the journal were anything to go by, this year's New Years Eve was looking like it would be a repeat of last year after all. Except, of course, that York hadn't been here last year.
He still wasn't entirely sure that this was a good idea (or maybe that was Delta's reservation), or even that it would work, but it was worth a shot, wasn't it? Even if he felt a little bit ridiculous lugging a few quarts of motor oil to Tex's room.
"Try to make sure I don't do anything overly stupid, D," he muttered as he knocked on her door.
