Michael reeled back a bit at Wally's emotional outburst, holding up a finger to the bartender for another glass. He turned back to his friend, reaching out to pat his back.

"You died a hero." He took his glass and held it up. "Who knows what would have happened if you hadn't stopped Prime when you did. You saved a lot of lives, Wally. I'm sure you were satisfied with how you went."

He hoped that sounded inspirational... maybe he could recite Coldplay lyrics and save himself from saying anything stupid. It's not like they'd recognize where it was from, anyway.
