The Master grinned widely. "I had a feeling that what was you were going to do, Doctor. You've never quite had the spine to do what needs to be done."

He scooped up the gun and momentarily looked over it before pressing the barrel against the Doctor's forehead.

"Cowards survive. Killers do as well."

The Master leaned in, smiling sickly sweet. "Goodbye, my dear Doctor. I'll miss you entirely."

And he pulled the trigger.
