Except now he had a drunk teenage princess wrapped around him. That was kind of awkward.
"Nothing to see here," he said, shooing some curious people along. "No, no more beer!" he added to the servant who was hovering nearby.
Miguel picked her up just like a husband carrying a bride. (He couldn't help but cringe a little at the imagery, but he wasn't about to DRAG her anywhere.) Since he didn't know her room number, and he wasn't about to take her back to HIS room (she'd wake up and have him lynched, surely!) he settled for a quiet corner of the library, which was likewise nearby on the first floor.
He set her down on a couch, then paced worriedly nearby. I hope she's all right...
