[ Anyone near the kitchen might notice Duke in there. At first he's just walking about, a little awkwardly, perhaps, taking turns and just mentally mapping where everything is. He pauses occasionally, hearing the sound of one of those magic fairies, but since he can't figure out what it is, it's ignored.

After that he's going to start cooking, and if knives near fingers make you nervous, don't watch him. Although he's doing fairly well at not nicking his fingers as he starts working on making something involving eggs.

Not doing so well at keeping his fingers free of egg, so there might be a tiny bit of that dripped on the page before the sounds of stirring and him finding things comes through the journal. ]

... If it was not this warm inside the castle.. what would you have done to keep yourself warm? [ He probably would have just become a mass of blankets and tried to sleep through winter, because there's no desert for him to wander off to, but shush. Chop chop chop - silence. ]

... I apologize, but you do not sound like what I would assume a weapon to sound like. Is this a term for saying 'I am powerful', or something more along the lines of 'existing to be directed to destro- [ Well, doesn't that sound so very blunt and cold. ]

Explains 'cherry blood' and why you would have trouble scenting the color of my skin. [ Please don't have noticed he wears a lot of red, especially if she feels the need to lick him. That would be. Odd. Very odd, if she was humanoid in appearance. Which he wouldn't know! ]

[ Duke's slightly confused at this motion, and then he's distracted because this contact, while confusing and bringing him all sorts of scents he'd problably not have noticed until something else caused him to invade Felix's personal-space, although what would really cause him to invade someone's personal space on purpose was currently beyond him.

Other than kissing. That seemed like a pretty good idea, even if Duke was completely confused about what to do. Felix can probably pick up on Duke being completely unsure of what to do.

Which is probably why he tries to ask what he should be doing. Probably not the best idea he's ever had, but shush. ]

.... I apologize, the only things I am familiar with as weapons are things such as halberds, bows, swords, Hoplon, daggers and - ... perhaps magic counts as well. This concept is confusing to me.

[Whatever Duke was going to ask is probably more or less lost as Felix takes advantage of the other man opening his mouth to slip in his own tongue.

His other hand might also be sliding up Duke's neck and into his hair.]

[ There's definitely more than enough hair for Felix to put his hand into, and it might even be surprisingly tangle free for a blind man with this much hair.

And he... really has no idea what to do. Something, obviously, but this situation is new enough that... distracted. Felix, what did you eat last?

Do something translates into trying to figure out exactly what is going on with this. A little bit of trying to figure out what's moving with his tongue. And perhaps a little awkwardly, his free hand will start trying to figure out what Felix.. more or less looks like. ]
