[Whereas most people might be sensible enough to avoid the new floating addition to the castle, even if they didn't know what it did yet, one of those people was not Suoh Tamaki.

Oh no.

Instead, Tamaki has decided that these fireflies (because that's what he thinks they are) will look wonderful scattered around the ballroom for the next club meeting.

...So he is deliberately trying to catch them. Good job, Host King.

He's running around the lobby, grin on his face and small net in his hand as he stalked his prey like a very attractively dressed lion.]

[Nepeta is far more likely to catch one than Tamaki, who is wildly swinging his net and missing by feet at a time.

He's drawing closer to her, which will surely end well with NOTHING OUT OF THE ORDINARY happening.]

With ease, Nepeta leaps toward it--and incidentally right beside Tamaki--and clamps her paws down upon it, pinning the light beneath her hands.]

[She very slowly and carefully lifts one of her hands, just enough so that they can both get a good look at it without it immediately flying away.]

Ohhhh... it's so pretty up close!

[Oh gosh oh gosh now she really does feel like a princess!

In return, she's motivated to throw her arms around Tamaki and pull him into a hug, kissing him right on the cheek!]

[He's had cheek kisses from customers before, though he usually doesn't initiate them himself, and so he's blushing slightly as he hugs back.]

[And then she realizes what she's doing and quickly pulls away. Her face is bright green and her eyes wide.]

Oh! I hope that was okay! I didn't mean to hug you out of nowhere and if it made you uncomfurtable I am sorry I just don't know what happened!

[She looks so nervous, and she's only young, so he rests a hand on her head smiling kindly.]

To receive a kiss on the cheek from such a lovely little princess, is hardly anything to apologise for.
