[he tried to pinpoint why he'd been in such a bad mood lately, but couldn't put his finger on anything specific. It was just...
It was everything.
It all got under his skin--the stupidity around him, the dull and simpering looks on everyone's faces. No wonder he hasn't gotten anywhere here. They're all hindrances to him; all just... nothing but simpleminded peasants.
And this is what he thinks about as he broods in the kitchen. He'd originally gone there to find something to eat, but now he finds that he has no appetite. The thought of it all just turns his stomach.

So... he lights one of the kitchen tables on fire.

((ooc: yep... another baddy infected with a shard of darkness. Though... it might be a little difficult to spot the differences, with him. :\))
