1st category - human. [ accidental dictated and action ]
[ The journal opens at the same time that someone sounds like they jumped the last four steps of the stairs. The exhale after it sounds like who ever it was didn't realize it was the last four steps rather than the last two.
But to anyone watching, it should be clear that Duke hadn't jumped stairs. In fact, he'd dropped from... no where, and landed wobbly. He straightens, and turns slightly to look about. ]
... Dark... Did the lights ... no, even without Brave Vesperia... The spirits would... The garden is too dark... [ He takes a step, and nearly stumbles. Startled, and a weakly amused noise. ]
... Injuries more severe than thought... Definitely ...strong... [ He's just going to stand there, slightly slouched because fighting a group of four heroes thrice in a row, despite magical boost and healing in between... isn't exactly easy on the body. There are scraps of fletching in his hair, his coat is cut and torn, singed, soaked and frosted, and the beginnings of bruises are showing on his pale face. ]
[ooc: Duke is in the lobby, and despite all his talk of night, it most definitely isn't. He won't be able to answer anything written, but if you want your characters to figure this out, I'm okay with replying "sorry, he hasn't noticed" if you want to have to swap to dictated! just... note. Or something. Have fun~]

Lost memories of something important.
.... ]
... that.. would be worse than a sense, perhaps..

... Very.. true. [ Slightly more awkward is the fact he has no idea where he is, and turning to try to find out ends up with him finding the wall. Fortunately, it's with the toe of his boots rather than his face, but still awkward. ]

That's a wall. You're in Paradisa, in the castle.

Not that he has to turn his head toward where he thinks she stands to indicate he's talking to her, to watch her, but he does so anyway. ]
....Inside, then.. it is good that I found a wall...

[She's careful not to touch him, but it might be the best for him if he did.]

...Which direction?
no subject
[She gently grabs his hand and leads him to a chair.]
Sit.

Thank you...

[She looks around, not exactly sure how to handle someone who just lost their eyesight, but she'll just be kind to him. A spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down, right?]
Do you want something to drink?
no subject
... [ Just.. confusion. ]
.... no.. need...?

... It provides, after taking? This castle.

But otherwise, no.

...You do not have to trouble yourself.
no subject
Well, we could wish you there. That works too.

Such things work?

.. Have you tested with using wishing to find locations?

...what direction...?
no subject
Here, this will be easier.
no subject
... Very well. [ He'll wait for a tug or something for direction. ]
