Twenty-Eighth Issue - Days of Future Passed
[When Jono wakes up, he doesn't notice anything at first. His room, for the most part, looks much the way it usually does. Books of sheet music and guitars of various makes and models litter the floor, and there's a clothing rack shoved against the wall, with all of his old uniforms hanging therefrom. What he does notice, is that where his room usually ends, it continues on, morphing into something resembling a row of small movie screens, each playing a distinct memory from points in his past. On one screen is his fateful meeting with Clan Akkaba, waking up before an idol of Apocalypse. On yet another is his memory of M-Day, the device Weapon X installed in his chest exploding over and over, leaving him a smoldering wreck in the mud. Jono gets up, pulling on a pair of jeans, and he walks into this part of the room, watching the different parts of his life play on the screens surrounding him. He remembers these events in more excruciating detail than the screens could ever hope to convey, yet he continues to watch all the same. Between some of the screens hang framed photographs of the young women Jono has known throughout his life, with a photo of Delirium starting to take shape as well. At the end of the "hall" stands a door printed with the claw-like Clan Akkaba symbol, with who-knows-what behind it.He'll continue standing here, reveling in the past until someone comes in and bother him to explain WTF.]
