[a bit of a sigh. honestly, this only hurts because she knows she'll never get to talk to him again, unless he comes back. she could hope that he'll come back, but she doesn't think the castle listens to those kinds of wishes]

He's probably happier back home. I mean, I don't know what he's up to, but -- probably better.
