[The journal falls open and picks up the soft sounds of a teenage boy's slumber. After a minute, it's interrupted by an wet snort.] Ugh... go away.
[Shifting. It sounds like someone tossing around on straw.] Noishe, I'm trying to sleep here. [His fingers curl into rough fur. He grumbles and tries to shove the disturbance away, but it's far heavier than he anticipated.
He opens his eyes.]
Wha— ... you're not Noishe. And this isn't my house.
[followed by, louder--]
Where are your eyes?!
[ooc: Lloyd is waking up in the stables with his baby. Hope this is okay! ♥
Also I am going to sleep now. Tags when I wake up.]

Lloyd! I'm so happy to see you!

How long has Colette lived here alone?]
We really got into trouble this time, huh.
no subject
Oh... yes, I guess a little bit. But you really shouldn't worry, this place has a lot of wonderful things! [oh! but she pauses and realizes that she's babbling and he just got here] Oh, I'm sorry, has anyone told you about where we are?
no subject
It's called Paradisa and it's a world that isn't near ours. That's all I know.
What's going on, Colette?

[He doesn't like not being able to remember things, but he already figured that part out at least.]
no subject
But a lot of people are working hard to understand it, and find a way home!
no subject
You've been here a while... haven't you.
no subject
Yes... I think it's been nearly three years.
no subject
These things happened to Lloyd, but did they happen for Colette, too? He remembers all those nights of journeying with her at his side: the stories they'd tell, the experiences they'd reminisce about, their attempts at counting stars, the difficulties taking Exspheres presented, and how she'd quietly support him through peoples' disagreements.]
Three years?! Colette--
[All his quiet strength crumbles to concern, the same thing he felt the first time he realized what she was going through. He feels as stupid as he did back then. And just as scared.
He gently tugs at her gloved wrist, then pulls her into a warm, wood-scented hug. He's not sure what she's feeling, but he's ashamed of his own nonchalance. Who knows how many times he's been here and left? And Colette... stayed here. Stayed the same...]
I'm sorry.

No, Lloyd... you don't have be sorry, i-it's not your fault!
no subject
I know. I know it's not my fault, but I just...
[He looks so guilty. He rests his cheek against her hair.]
I should have brought you home.
no subject
No, it's... being here hasn't been easy, but I'm really grateful too! I've made wonderful friends, and I don't think it would be right if I left before they did.
no subject
Then... we'll look for a way to send everyone home together. No one deserves to be alone in a place like this.
[His smile brightens.]
How about it?
no subject
So she nods brightly, returning that wonderful smile.]
Yes, I think we can do it! And... I'm really really happy that you're here.
no subject
Me, too. [Ahem.] Can you show me around?
no subject
Let's see... if you woke up here, then I guess we should go find your room.
no subject
Oh... right. I have no idea where to start. How will I know which room's mine?

He really hopes she doesn't trip through a wall while they're looking.]
I think so, too. Let's go!
