[The journal falls open and picks up the soft sounds of a teenage boy's slumber. After a minute, it's interrupted by an wet snort.] Ugh... go away.

[Shifting. It sounds like someone tossing around on straw.] Noishe, I'm trying to sleep here. [His fingers curl into rough fur. He grumbles and tries to shove the disturbance away, but it's far heavier than he anticipated.

He opens his eyes.]

Wha— ... you're not Noishe. And this isn't my house.

[followed by, louder--]

Where are your eyes?!

[ooc: Lloyd is waking up in the stables with his baby. Hope this is okay! ♥

Also I am going to sleep now. Tags when I wake up.]

[but she eventually relaxes in that hug... and hugs him back. She shakes her head, and giggles softly (more out of reflex than anything)]

[At least she's not trying to lie about it. They wouldn't be such good friends if they weren't completely honest with each other about things like this. It took the first journey for them to figure that out.]

I know. I know it's not my fault, but I just...

[He looks so guilty. He rests his cheek against her hair.]

[she shakes her head a little, not too much because the weight of his head on hers is comforting, but enough to show her disagreement]

No, it's... being here hasn't been easy, but I'm really grateful too! I've made wonderful friends, and I don't think it would be right if I left before they did.

[That's so Colette. It completely startles him out of the darkness he's brought down around them. He smiles finally and straightens to look her in the eyes. His hands come to rest on her upper arms.]

Then... we'll look for a way to send everyone home together. No one deserves to be alone in a place like this.

[His smile brightens.]

[and just seeing his smile fills her with a warmth and happiness.... yes, it's okay that he's here. She was so convinced that it was wrong to hope that friends would come here but, this couldn't be wrong, could it? Things would be alright, things just tended to be more wonderful when Lloyd was nearby.

So she nods brightly, returning that wonderful smile.]

Yes, I think we can do it! And... I'm really really happy that you're here.

[He's not expecting that last part. He lets Colette go so that he can rub beneath his nose, turning a little pink himself.]

Oh! Yes, of course! [hehe, she does a silly little movement and looks around.. like she's going to see something that she should talk about]

Let's see... if you woke up here, then I guess we should go find your room.

[He rests his hands on the hilts of his swords, an easy and comfortable pose now that he knows something isn't going to pop out and grab him. Frickin' eyeless buffalo.]

Oh... right. I have no idea where to start. How will I know which room's mine?

[Lloyd looks at the castle, then looks at Colette, and then the castle again.

He really hopes she doesn't trip through a wall while they're looking.]
