[The journal falls open and picks up the soft sounds of a teenage boy's slumber. After a minute, it's interrupted by an wet snort.] Ugh... go away.
[Shifting. It sounds like someone tossing around on straw.] Noishe, I'm trying to sleep here. [His fingers curl into rough fur. He grumbles and tries to shove the disturbance away, but it's far heavier than he anticipated.
He opens his eyes.]
Wha— ... you're not Noishe. And this isn't my house.
[followed by, louder--]
Where are your eyes?!
[ooc: Lloyd is waking up in the stables with his baby. Hope this is okay! ♥
Also I am going to sleep now. Tags when I wake up.]

Welcome to Paradisa, sir!
written;
Thanks... I don't remember anything, but I guess I really have been here before. This book is filled with stuff I've written. [Among other things.
Dad...]
I'm Lloyd. What's your name?
written;
My name's Sakura. Haruno Sakura -- there's been more than one woman named Sakura here before, and might be again. Nice to meet you, Lloyd.
written;
Since strangers seem to know my name, I don't think I have a choice. [The journal picks up a soft chuckle.]
It's nice to meet you, too.
[Swirly swirl swirl... some of it branches out quite literally, growing little leaves, and then it stops as he writes again.]
I wish sending letters was this easy. I always forget to send them in time, and now...
written;
You know, pending we don't eventually learn we're all copies of people in other realities invented by the force behind the castle, but hey, let's stay positive!

written;
... The food's pretty great here!
[ .... HAHAHA she fails for today ]
written;
It's fine, Sakura.
There's a lot I don't know about this place, but even if it seems really bad, I'm sure something good can come out of it. We just have to make it work.
written;
- No taxes
- Opportunity to meet some amazing people
- Opportunity to experience amazing new things (like flying!)
- All sorts of stories to hear and learn
- All kinds of people to train with
- Many different new skills to pick up
- Or even skills to better hone with new partners
- Work on communication skills
- Work on teambuilding skills
- Improve yourself as a person
- Be able to hear about whole new worlds
- Sometimes exciting world changes?
- I mean once everyone was like a pirate! (If you like pirates, it was interesting)
- Some temporary losses can be good ones!
- People can get a second or third or ninth chance at living
- You can build things that last and matter out in the dead zone
- Volunteer to help keep others healthy and happy and safe
- Learn to cook if you can't
- If you ruin things in the kitchen they come back good as new!
- If you punch through castle walls it gets better?
- Experience new holidays!
- Reconnect with new and old friends!
- Fall in love(?)
- Or I guess fall in apathy, which is a step up from being in hate with someone
... so yes, there's definitely a few positives!
written;
[Meet Lloyd's ADD.]
That's so cool!
written;
... and known exactly what pirates were. ]
It was very adventurous, and the water was colder, this is true. I'm not sure if the wolf-tentacle-woman or the harpies were 'cool,' but the town before it attacked and got burnt down was nice.
In a way, at least.
written;
Were they guarding secret treasure?
[He does sober at the thought of a town burning down, though.]
Ugh, I hope no one got hurt.
written;
[ You know, pirates is another depressing topic. Uh... ]
Which is another bright side! No one died!
written; SUDDEN NINJA EDIT
[She is trying REALLY HARD. It's almost suspicious.]
Is there a way to check if someone has been here before? Besides reading through the journal, I mean.
written; NOT A NINJA EDIT!
Yes and no. Ask on the journal for names, you might have some replies. It depends on who knew them, or was around if and when they were around. I don't think we have an entire list of names for everyone, but we may. I'd have to look back through my own notes. Who're you looking for?
[ Let's not mention that anyone who died ever has a tombstone, even if they're no longer here. ]
written;
Just... a couple friends of mine. I have someone from home I can ask, too. I'll let you know if I still need help.

[So everyone loses something, and... it can be anything, even one's voice? Lloyd isn't sure what he lost yet, but just /thinking/ about his best friend slowly losing her humanity again-- it makes him forget where he is. In an instant, all of the seething anger he felt back then washes over him anew.
There's an angry outburst just waiting to be let out, but he shoves it down. His handwriting is a little shaky, and Sakura might detect a frustrated breath.]
I'm sorry. [His pencil leaves a little line across the page.] — Someone close to me lost her voice once, so if you feel like you have to say something, you can write in my hand. Whatever you're comfortable with.
written;
That's kind of you to offer. I wonder if it'd even work? The journals translate anything we write, and something allows us all to understand each other. Would something like that work?
But yes, I may stick with writing. Takes longer, yet it works. And I've gotten better at charades!
written;
[It would be detectable in his voice if he spoke right now, but his writing tone is back to being friendly at least.]
I hope you're better at charades than I am, or else we'll have a problem.
written;
[ Sakura is... both good and bad at charades. Hers tend to get very gesture filled, and she needs to simplify that down for the most part. ]
Ha! We'll have to see about that some time too.
