[she doesn't expect to be pulled into a hug like that. She'd gotten used to telling people that she had been there for a long time... they would just seem surprised, or comment on what a long time that was that she had forgotten... something like that might be hard to hear. She feels a little guilty... or maybe it's the feeling how long that really is]
